Debora Tamay is an Actor, Director, Writer, and Host of the Creative Constitution Podcast. Before becoming a filmmaker, Debora practised as a Corporate Lawyer in Australia.
Since 2019, Debora has been actively involved in the film industry, appearing in numerous feature and short films, including the award-winning “Girl” and “Boy on the Radio.”
Eager to expand her creative horizons, she embraced directing, making her debut with the short film “Infinitely More Important.” Following this success, she directed several other short films, such as “One Night Stand,” “The Crematorium Assistant’s Tale,” “Devour’d” and “Relic #25.”
Recently, she has been exploring AI filmmaking, creating acclaimed titles like “Webbed,” “Swept,” and “Our Time,” which have garnered significant attention on YouTube.
Currently, Debora is in post-production for her debut feature film “Onwards,” an adventure mystery thriller that pays homage to the iconic Indiana Jones era.
Debora’s work as a director is often characterized by unexpected endings, psychological elements, and dark
mysterious undertones. She takes inspiration from the works of David Fincher, Quentin Tarantino, M. Night Shyamalan, Mike Flanagan, and Tim Burton.
She is particularly drawn to stories with redemption arcs, where characters undergo significant transformation
throughout the course of the film.
